As COVID-19 continues its spread across the globe, the health and safety of our employees, partners and customers is our primary responsibility. We wanted to take this opportunity to outline some of the steps we’re taking to promote the wellbeing of our employees while maintaining business continuity for our customers, living our core value: a maniacal focus on our customers.

As the world becomes more reliant on digital connections, we understand the important role our company plays in delivering great software experiences and enabling communication inside software applications. Pendo’s strong financial position allows us to continue to invest in our product during these troubling times; our cloud infrastructure lets us scale with higher than normal usage from sectors like education, healthcare, insurance,  financial services and enterprise technology.

How we’re keeping Pendo employees and partners safe

Over the last several weeks, our safety committee and leadership team have developed a pandemic response plan along with detailed guidelines for working and managing teams remotely. Starting next week, all Pendo employees will be encouraged to work from home. We are confident that our employees and infrastructure will enable us to support our product and customers with the same level of quality that we do today.

We have also suspended all non-essential company travel indefinitely, and cancelled corporate events in adherence to government recommendations. All recruiting activities will now happen virtually. We will update this post and communicate any changes on our website, social media channels and inside our applications as the situation unfolds.

How we’re working to preserve continuity for your business

Pendo’s infrastructure and processes will allow us to provide the same level of support our customers have come to expect. By using the Google Cloud Platform, we have built our system to scale with demand, so if your sector is experiencing higher than normal usage, we are prepared to handle increased workloads. We also provide Pendo employees with state-of-the-art software applications, and use industry-leading single sign-on technology so they can work securely from anywhere. Every employee also has a company-managed laptop that is configured for automatic security updates and endpoint protection. And to make sure our employees stay productive regardless of their work environment, we use collaboration software from Slack, Zoom, Salesforce.com, Zendesk, 15Five and others.

As always, Pendo provides around-the-clock customer support Monday through Friday to make sure your teams are running at full speed. You can find helpful guides at our help site, or check our status page for information on operational uptimes. Please reach out to your customer success manager or email us at [email protected] if you have additional questions or concerns.
