Pendo Announces Pendomonium Conference and Pendorama

Today Pendo announced its second annual Pendomonium, a destination conference for technology product leaders. Additionally, Pendo announced Pendorama, a new traveling meetup series for Pendo users in five North American cities.

With Pendomonium and Pendorama, Pendo is spreading the word of “product love,” inspiring product teams from all industries to create software that customers love to use every day. Pendo’s mission is to celebrate and cultivate pride and progress in the important work of technology product leadership, while providing a platform for sharing best practices.

Pendomonium 2018

Promoting the theme “product love,” Pendo expects to draw more than 400 people to Raleigh for the annual Pendomonium conference, which takes place March 20-21, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel and other venues in downtown Raleigh. Pendomonium also offers an optional third day to accommodate a curated product team offsite experience, which includes designated workspaces and facilitated support for attendees and their teams to immediately put Pendomonium ideas and learnings to practice.

Pendomonium headliners will include:

Dan Heath, New York Times best-selling co-author of Decisive, Switch and Made to Stick. A senior fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship at Duke University, Heath recently published his newest book, The Power of Moments, which explores why certain customer experiences have extraordinary impact. Heath will draw on the theme of product love, discussing key insights from his latest book to help product teams create richer, more extraordinary moments for their customers.

Nir Eyal, author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling book, Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products. Eyal is a serial entrepreneur, investor and writer who M.I.T. Technology Review has dubbed “The Prophet of Habit-Forming Technology.” With a talk that intertwines psychology, business and technology, he’ll guide Pendomonium attendees through a set of steps for building products that people love so much, they can’t stop using them.

Pendomonium will also include more than 30 sessions across four tracks: Customer Insight and User Experience, The Art and Science of Product Management, Product Strategy, Design and Innovation and Pendo Best Practices. Presenters will include product leaders from companies like Workfront, Marketo, Citrix, among many others. Specific speakers and topics and additional headliners will be announced early next year.

“As competitive advantage bends in the direction of exceptional product design and innovation, product managers will increasingly have a seat at the table,” said Pendo co-founder and CEO Todd Olson. “While this is exciting progress for product leaders, it can also be daunting. With Pendomonium and Pendorama, we’re excited to provide platforms for product leaders to learn from each other, and to find support, inspiration and camaraderie as a community of product people.”

True to its roots, Pendo will infuse southern culture into the event with great local food, a private performance by North Carolina indie-Americana band Mipso and a custom pale ale brewed locally for Pendomonium. Super early bird tickets are available through January 1 for $499. Registration is open here: www.pendo.io/pendomonium.
