X Marks the Spot: An Infographic of ProductCraft: The Conference

When we launched ProductCraft, our goal was to build a place for and by product people, an online home for real perspectives and best practices from product practitioners. Since ProductCraft’s launch in early 2018, we’ve published more than 230 articles, debates, podcast episodes, and more, all aimed at helping PMs do their jobs better.

Now we want to to take you to a literal place for product people: ProductCraft: The Conference. We planned this event because we wanted something different — the product conference we always wanted to attend but never quite found.

To that end, we decided to change the traditional product conference formula of lectures, panels, and more lectures. We’re proud to introduce “Lessons, Labs, and Lounges,” a new event format that allows attendees to choose their own adventure. And it all takes place on May 9th at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Lessons

We’ve selected an incredible lineup of product leaders to speak at the conference. These experts come from world-class companies like Amazon, Airbnb, Quantcast, and Box, and will be addressing topics related to product growth, troubleshooting, customer feedback, and more.

Our list of lessons includes the following:

  • The Seven Habits of Customer-Centric Companies (Tatyana Mamut, Amazon)
  • Seeing Around the Curve: Designing the Future of Your Product (Benjamin Earl Evans, Airbnb)
  • The Maestro: What Orchestra Conductors Can Teach Us About Product Management (Jeff Lash, Sirius Decisions)

And let’s not forget about our keynote speaker, Guy Raz, host of the popular “How I Built This” podcast.

For the full list, see the conference agenda.

Labs

When speaking with fellow product people about what they’d like to change about conferences, many of them suggested a slightly more “hands-on” approach to product-specific issues. That’s where the “labs” portion of ProductCraft, The Conference comes in. These smaller events are centered around topics such as building product portfolios and creating winning product strategies.

Lounges

Want to chat with kindred spirits about all things product? Throughout our conference venue, the incredible Palace of Fine Arts, you’ll find quiet spaces dedicated to in-depth discussions and meaningful one-on-one conversations. These salons offer a more informal place to engage with other PMs. We’ll also have a special lounge run by our fantastic content partners, Women in Product.

Be There or Be Square
